Hi, I'm Andre

 

As a native New Yorker, I deeply understand how the fast-paced environment can leave us often feeling empty, depleted, irritable, and disconnected. I also understand the incredible courage and vulnerability it takes to seek support. Whether you’re looking to gain insight, strengthen your relationships, or identify ways to achieve your life goals and improve life satisfaction – I am here to help! My approach to therapy is strength-based, trauma informed, and rooted in cultural humility. I also employ a variety of mindfulness and insight-oriented interventions to provide a nonjudgmental brave space for openness and exploration.


I believe people are the experts of their own experience and are incredibly resilient, capable of tremendous healing and growth. I would love to talk to you about the possibility of working together to see if I would be a good fit.

Therapeutic Approaches

I use a combination of evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Identifying and challenging unhelpful thoughts and behaviors.
  • Client-Centered Therapy: Providing a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. 
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Focusing on building skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Learning to accept what’s out of your control and commit to actions that align with your values.
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI): Exploring and resolving ambivalence, helping you find the motivation to make positive changes.
  • Mindfulness Techniques: Practicing staying present to reduce stress and anxiety.
