The first session is designed to help you feel comfortable and build trust. It’s a time to explore your reasons for starting therapy, discuss any past experiences, and share what you hope to achieve. Individual counseling sessions are generally 50 minutes at a rate of $200. For clients needing extended time, we offer longer sessions. Therapy is an investment in your well-being, and we’re committed to transparency about costs. We are currently in-network with Aetna, which may simplify billing for Aetna-covered clients. For those with other insurance, we can provide monthly superbills to help facilitate reimbursement as an out-of-network provider. Many clients find that partial reimbursements are available; however, we encourage you to check your specific benefits to understand your options fully.
We understand that life can be unpredictable, but consistency is key in therapy. We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid the full session fee. This policy ensures that we can maintain availability for all clients, respecting both your time and the time reserved specifically for you. This commitment helps us maintain a stable schedule and provide the highest quality of care for all clients.
